WHAT’S IN THIS EDITION.
Explore all seven pony-car generations and every model year from 1965 through 2026. The launch collection includes 39 selected model profiles, generation buying guides, engine-family references, and a searchable 2016 workshop publication. The Mustang Mach-E is outside this collection.
Model-year pages are concise introductions. Selected configurations have transcribed power and torque figures; missing data is labeled rather than estimated. The collection is not a complete database of every option, production number, or market.
HOW SOURCES ARE USED.
Original Ford brochures, owner publications, technical specifications, and manufacturer announcements support model information. Some original brochures are hosted by an independent archive. Source links appear beside the relevant data. Historical gross horsepower and modern net ratings should not be compared as equivalent measurements.
Original photographs have individual credits and licenses. A photograph may represent a generation rather than the exact model configuration; those captions make the distinction explicit.
THE HTML WORKSHOP EDITION.
The supplied 2016 publication has 6,619 source pages and 112 bookmarks. Every source page has a permanent HTML reference with selectable text, tables, and original illustration crops. Chapter and procedure contents preserve the source sequence. There is no document viewer to load.
Technical text is extracted from the source without rewriting its instructions. Table borders and text positions reconstruct cell relationships. Scanned wiring introductions were transcribed and checked against the supplied pages; diagram-only material retains its original illustrations with a separately labeled automated text transcription. OCR can misread labels and numbers. The archive remains available to the maintainer for corrections.
HTML formatting and navigation are editorial. The entire manual has not received a line-by-line technical review. Detected procedure ranges are navigation aids, and longer ranges may contain additional topics. Always read the source headings, qualifiers, warnings, and referenced material together. Report any conversion issue using its source reference number.
Engine, transmission, and equipment qualifiers matter. The main engine material focuses on 5.0L and the manual-transmission material includes MT82. This publication does not establish complete applicability to every 2016 variant or to other model years.
PRIVACY & CONNECTIONS.
Favorites are saved only in this browser’s local storage. There are no visitor accounts, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts. VIN lookup sends the entered VIN and selected year to NHTSA when you submit the form. It does not save the VIN in your favorites or URL.
Video players connect to YouTube only after you load them. External source links open the named publisher’s website. Normal server security logs may include connection information.
CORRECTIONS & CONTRIBUTIONS.
Content updates are managed through GitHub. A useful correction identifies the page, model configuration, source publication, and exact supporting page. Technical changes should preserve the source reference and explain the review status.
