NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube-to-PCV valve quick connect coupling. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING .

Rotate the PCV valve counterclockwise and remove the PCV valve. Discard the PCV valve.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV)

VALVE > INSTALLATION

NOTE: A new PCV valve must be installed if removed. Damage will occur to the locking mechanism on the PCV valve.

1. Lubricate the new PCV valve O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
