7. Make sure the A/C is off.
8. Select REGISTER mode (A/C off).
9. Adjust the temperature setting to full warm.
10. Adjust the blower motor speed to HI.
11. Run the engine for 25 minutes to dry out the A/C system.
12. Turn the ignition OFF.
13. Remove the blower motor.
14. NOTE: Blower motor resistors or blower motor speed controls that are mounted outside of the climate control housing and not exposed to the blower motor airflow do not need to be removed.
Remove the blower motor resister or blower motor speed control (if equipped and exposed to the inside of the climate control housing).
15. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the vehicle interior, do not spill or spray this product on any interior
surface.
NOTE: Only Motorcraft YN-29 is approved for use on Ford vehicles no other coating is approved. Use of other coatings may cause damage to the factory coating and more odor issues.
Add one full bottle of A/C Cooling Coil Coating to the Flexible Applicator Tool. Use Special Service Tool: 258-62644 (258-00005) A/C ODOR REMOVER FLEXIBLE APPLICATOR. Material : Motorcraft® A/C Cooling Coil Coating / YN-29
16. Insert the nozzle into the evaporator housing and direct the spray toward the evaporator core face. Spray the entire evaporator core face until empty.
17. Install the blower motor and blower motor resistor or blower motor speed control.
18. Repeat Steps 7 through 11 to cure the evaporator core coating.
