AF20 CHECK THE SATELLITE RADIO/GPS (GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM) ANTENNA UNIT SHIELD FOR CONTINUITY TO ANTENNA UNIT BASE

Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?

Yes

INSPECT and REPAIR any corrosion on the antenna unit base and/or vehicle mounting surface. REINSTALL the antenna and ensure the proper torque value is achieved. REFER to: Satellite Radio Antenna (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation).

INSTALL a new satellite radio/GPS antenna. REFER to: Satellite Radio Antenna (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation).

AF21 CHECK FOR CORRECT ACM (AUDIO FRONT CONTROL MODULE) OPERATION

Ignition OFF. Disconnect and inspect all the ACM connectors. Repair:

Corrosion (clean module pins or install new connectors or terminals) Damaged or bent pins (install new terminals or pins) Pushed-out pins (install new pins as necessary)

Reconnect the ACM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly. Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
