— Starting Concerns: No Start (Engine Cranks)

NOTE: An extended crank because of a no start may load the exhaust system with raw fuel, damaging the catalytic converter after the engine starts.

— Unique Idle Concerns: Fast Idle — Diesels/Runs On

NOTE: For E-Series, Escape/Kuga, F-650 / F-750, Focus, Motorhome, Transit and Transit Connect, an elevated idle is present on new vehicles. Verify the vehicle has been driven for 5 consecutive miles, or drive the vehicle for 5 consecutive miles if necessary, before continuing diagnosis.
