Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks

Inspect BCM Fuse 41 (10A).

Inspect battery saver relay.

PINPOINT TEST A : UNIVERSAL TRANSMITTER IS INOPERATIVE

A1 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE UNIVERSAL TRANSMITTER

Check the illumination of the universal transmitter by pressing one of the buttons.

Does the indicator on the universal transmitter illuminate?

Yes

GO to A2

No

GO to A3

A2 PROGRAM A HAND-HELD TRANSMITTER TO THE UNIVERSAL TRANSMITTER

NOTE: The customer's hand-held transmitter is required when programming the universal transmitter.

Program the universal transmitter. Refer to the Owner's Literature.

Does the universal transmitter program successfully?
