WHY IT MATTERS.
The turbocharged four-cylinder offers a different balance of displacement, boost, and torque. Its maintenance requirements and service procedures are distinct from a GT.
The launch lineup included a V6, turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost, and 5.0L GT. The GT350 introduced a 5.2L flat-plane-crank V8. The 2018 update revised the GT powertrain and added a ten-speed automatic option; the later GT500 used a dual-clutch transmission.
