NOTE: This procedure is for vehicles the Dual Rear Wheels.

NOTE: The TPMS can be placed into learn mode using a diagnostic scan tool.

1. Select Chassis.

2. Select TPMS.

3. Select Training Mode

The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if the training mode has been entered successfully. If equipped, the message center will display TRAIN Left Front (LF) TIRE.

Enter Training Mode Without Scan Tool:

1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels to pressure specified on the tire and loading information label.

2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position, then press and release brake pedal.

3. Turn ignition switch from OFF position to the RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position. Do not wait more than one minute between each key cycle.

4. Press and release the brake pedal.

5. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.

6. Turn ignition switch from OFF position to the RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position. Do not wait more than one minute between each key cycle. The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if the training mode has been entered successfully. If equipped, the message center will display TRAIN LF TIRE.

7. Remove both rear outer tires and lay them flat on the ground. Left Rear Outer (LRO) and Right Rear Outer (RRO).

8. Place the transmitter activation tool on the Left Front (LF) tire sidewall at the valve stem. Press and release the test button on the tool. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the tire pressure sensor has been recognized by the BCM.

NOTE: It may take up to 6 seconds to activate a tire pressure sensor. During this time, the transmitter activation tool must remain in place at the valve stem.

9. Within 2 minutes of the horn sounding, place the transmitter activation tool on the Right Front (RF) tire sidewall at the valve stem and press and release the test button to train the Right Front (RF) tire pressure sensor.

10. Repeat procedure for the Right Rear (RR), (RRO) Left Rear (LR) and (LRO) tires. The procedure is completed after the last tire has been trained. When the training procedure is complete, the message center (if equipped) will display TIRE TRAINING COMPLETE. For
