REPROGRAM the original PCM with the latest software. If DTC P163F returns, INSTALL a new PCM. REFER to: Powertrain Control Module Transmission ID Block P163F PCM (PCM) . After installing the Corrupted, Not Programmed new PCM, PROGRAM it with the latest software and PERFORM the Transmission Strategy Download, REFER to: Transmission Strategy Download . OPEN then CLOSE the drivers door and cycle the door locks. If the door ajar icon is illuminated on the IPC and the door lock and unlock Drivers Door Status P1700 Transmission are not working correctly, Correlation REFER to: Locks, Latches and Entry Systems . If the door ajar and locks are working correctly, REFER to: External Controls . DTC P0706, P0707 and/or Transmission Range Sensor P0708 may set, CLEAR the P1702 TR sensor Circuit Intermittent DTC. If DTC P1702 returns, GO to Pinpoint Test C CLEAR the DTC. RERUN the Transmission Range Circuit KOEO and KOER self-test. If P1705 Not Indicating Park/Neutral TR sensor DTC P1705 returns, GO to During Self Test Pinpoint Test C Transmission Fluid CLEAR the DTC and RERUN P1711 Temperature Sensor Out Of TFT sensor the KOEO and KOER Self Test Range self-test. DTC P1744 is a non-electrical DTC. CLEAR Torque Converter Clutch P1744 TCC the DTC. If DTC P1744 Solenoid Circuit Performance returns, REFER to: Diagnosis By Symptom .
