Removal
1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in
section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

2. WARNING: The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor battery may release
hazardous chemicals if exposed to extreme mechanical damage. If these chemicals contact the skin or eyes, flush immediately with water for a minimum of 15 minutes and get prompt medical attention. If any part of the battery is swallowed, contact a physician immediately. When disposing of Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors, follow the correct procedures for hazardous material disposal. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
NOTE: The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor cannot be removed without disassembly of the wheel and tire.
NOTE: The maximum shelf life of a TPMS snap in valve stems before being mounted to a wheel is 1 year. The production date / week / year is marked on the TPMS sensor / valve stem itself. Snap in valve stems which are older than 1 year are to be scrapped. TPMS snap in sensors with valve stems older than one year should not be mounted but the valve stem should be replaced.

Installation
