S2 RECHECK THE ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the ABS module self-test. Clear the ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Ignition OFF. Ignition ON. Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the ABS module self-test. Record the ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Is DTC U0151:00 retrieved again?
Yes | GO to S3 |
|---|---|
No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition. |
S3 REVIEW THE RECORDED ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
Review the previously recorded ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Was DTC U3003:16 or U3003:17 recorded?
Yes | For DTC U3003:16, GO to Pinpoint Test A For DTC U3003:17, GO to Pinpoint Test F |

S4 CHECK THE RCM (RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE) FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the RCM self-test.
