Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, General Procedures).

2. NOTICE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.

Remove the nut and the Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) bracket, and disconnect the A/C condenser outlet line and the evaporator outlet line. Torque : 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

3. Remove the bolts and the Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV). Torque : 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
