PINPOINT TEST C : THE SATELLITE RADIO IS INOPERATIVE OR DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY
C1 VERIFY THE SUBSCRIPTION STATUS
Operate the audio system in satellite radio mode. Using the FCIM TUNE UP or TUNE DOWN buttons, verify if channels other than 0 and 184 can be selected.
Can channels other than 0 and 184 be selected?
Yes | GO to C5 |

No | • If the ACM has not been replaced previously, the subscription has expired. INSTRUCT the customer to contact SIRIUS to reactivate the subscription. • If the ACM has been replaced previously, GO to C2 |
C2 VERIFY IF THERE IS A ESN (ELECTRONIC SERIAL NUMBER) /VIN MISMATCH ON THE CUSTOMER’S ACCOUNT
Retrieve the satellite radio ESN by tuning to channel 0. Contact the SIRIUS Dealer Support Line (888-465-8528). Inquire if the ESN and VIN on the customer’s SIRIUS file match the ESN and VIN retrieved from the vehicle.

Yes | The subscription has expired. INSTRUCT the customer to contact SIRIUS to reactivate the subscription. |

C3 RE-VERIFY THE SUBSCRIPTION STATUS
Once the correct ESN is matched with the VIN, inquire with the SIRIUS Dealer Support Line if the subscription is subscribed or unsubscribed.
Does the SIRIUS Dealer Support Line indicate that the subscription has expired?
Yes | INSTRUCT the customer to contact SIRIUS to reactivate the subscription. |

C4 SEND THE SIRIUS ACTIVATION SIGNAL AND RECHECK THE SATELLITE RADIO SYSTEM FOR CORRECT OPERATION
Using a diagnostic scan tool, view the ACM Parameter Identifications (PIDs). Monitor the Satellite Radio Signal Strength PID (SAT_SIG_STR). If the PID reads "No Signal" or "Poor," drive the vehicle to an outdoor location that is free from obstacles such as tall buildings or large trees until a "Good," "Very Good," or "Excellent" PID value is obtained.
