AH4 CHECK THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL) MICROPHONE CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TOGETHER

Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes

GO to AH5

No

REPAIR the circuit in question.

AH5 ISOLATE THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL) MICROPHONE

Connect: ACM C240B. Install a new overhead console ANC microphone. REFER to: Active Noise Control Microphone (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation). Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the DACMC. Ignition OFF. Ignition ON. Wait at least 5 seconds Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the DACMC self-test.

Is DTC B116A:01 still present in the DACMC?

Yes

GO to AH6
