AL2 RECHECK FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) U0121:00

Yes	GO to AL2
No	The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.

Ignition ON. Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear all Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs). Ignition OFF. Ignition ON. Wait at least 10 seconds. Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).

Is DTC U0121:00 set in the APIM?

Yes	GO to AL3
No	The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.

AL3 CHECK THE ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) MODULE FOR BATTERY VOLTAGE OUT-OF-RANGE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the BCM self-test.

Are any low or high voltage Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded in the ABS module?

Yes	• For DTC U3003:16, REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control (206-09 Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control, Diagnosis and Testing). See U3003:16. • For DTC U3003:17, REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control (206-09 Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control, Diagnosis and Testing). See U3003:17.
No	GO to AL4

Yes

AL4 CHECK THE APIM (SYNC MODULE) FOR BATTERY VOLTAGE OUT-OF-RANGE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the APIM self-test.

Are any low or high voltage Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded in the APIM?

Yes	• For DTC U3003:16, GO to Pinpoint Test AW • For DTC U3003:17, GO to Pinpoint Test AX
No	GO to AL5

Yes

• For DTC U3003:16, GO to Pinpoint Test AW

• For DTC U3003:17, GO to Pinpoint Test AX

GO to AL5

AL5 CHECK FOR CORRECT ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) MODULE OPERATION

Ignition OFF. Disconnect and inspect the ABS module connector. Repair:

Corrosion (clean module pins or install new connectors or terminals)
