PINPOINT TEST A : THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) ARE INOPERATIVE
A1 CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE FOG LAMPS
Ignition ON. Place the headlamp switch in the PARKLAMPS position and activate the front fog lamps.
Do the fog lamps operate correctly?
Yes | GO to A2 |

No | Diagnose the fog lamps. REFER to: Fog Lamps (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Diagnosis and Testing). |
A2 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH PID (PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION)
Using a diagnostic scan tool, view BCM Parameter Identifications (PIDs). Monitor the BCM Ignition Switch 1 (START_STOP_1) PID while pressing and releasing the START/STOP button.
