B1 CHECK STOPLAMPS OPERATION
Ignition ON. Without applying the brake pedal and observe the rear and high mounted stoplamps.
Are any stoplamps illuminated?
Yes | If all the stoplamps are illuminated, GO to Pinpoint Test D For the high mounted stoplamp, GO to B8 For an individual inner, middle or outer rear stoplamp, GO to B9 |

B2 IDENTIFY THE INOPERATIVE STOPLAMP
Apply the brake pedal and observe the rear and high mounted stoplamps.
Is only an individual stoplamp inoperative?
Yes | For the high mounted stoplamp, GO to B3 For an individual inner, middle or outer rear stoplamp, GO to B10 |

No | For all LH or RH inner, middle and outer rear stoplamps, GO to B13 If all stoplamps are inoperative, GO to Pinpoint Test A |
B3 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE HIGH MOUNTED STOPLAMP
Ignition OFF. Disconnect: High Mounted Stoplamp C475. Ignition ON. While applying the brake pedal, measure:
