A7 MONITOR THE PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) TR (TRANSMISSION RANGE) PID
Using a diagnostic scan tool, view PCM Parameter Identifications (PIDs). Monitor the PCM TR PID. Select DRIVE.
Does the PID value agree with the TR selector lever position?
Yes | GO to A13 |

No | REFER to: External Controls (307-05 Automatic Transmission External Controls, Diagnosis and Testing). |

Ignition OFF. Remove the driver airbag. REFER to: Driver Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation). Disconnect LH Steering Wheel Switch C2366. Ignition ON. Measure:
