Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®)/Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) enable command

Used to enable/disable the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) or Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) based on driver input.

Ignition key type

BCM

Used to disable the ability to turn OFF the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) and Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) when a MyKey restricted key is in use.

Gear lever position (automatic transmission vehicles only)

PCM

Used to turn the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) and Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system on and off depending the gear lever position.

Reverse gear (manual transmission vehicles only)

PCM

Used to turn the Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system on and off when the transmission is shifted in to and out of REVERSE (R).

Vehicle speed

Used to activate the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) after an ignition cycle and deactivate the Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system when the vehicle speed exceeds preset thresholds.
