Front Seat Backrest Release Handle

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: LHD driver seat shown, all others similar.

NOTE: Power seat shown, all others similar.

1. Remove the front seat backrest cover. Refer to: Front Seat Backrest Cover (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation). Refer to: Front Seat Backrest Cover - Vehicles With: Recaro Seats (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

2. If equipped. Disconnect the backrest blower motor manifold from the backrest cushion.

3. If equipped with a Recaro seat. Remove the upper backrest foam.
