The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.

The Door Locks Operate Only One Way

Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 117 for schematic and connector information.

B126A:01 Drivers Door Interior Lock Switch: General

Electrical Failure

Sets during an on-demand self-test if the BCM detects a short to ground from one of the door lock control switch input circuits.

DDM/ PDM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

B108F:23 Cabin Lock/Unlock Switch: Signal Stuck

Low

Sets when the DDM/ PDM detects a short to ground from one of the door lock control switch input circuits.

Possible Cause

Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Door lock control switch PDM DDM BCM

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks

Check the BCM fuse 3 (20A)

PINPOINT TEST J : THE DOOR LOCKS OPERATE ONLY ONE WAY

J1 CHECK FOR AN INOPERATIVE DOOR LOCK

Operate the power door locks using both door lock control switches.

Is any door lock inoperative for both directions?

Yes

GO to Pinpoint Test I

No

GO to J2

J2 CHECK FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) B108F:23 OR B126A:01

Ignition ON. For vehicles not equipped with a memory seat, using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the BCM self-test. For vehicles equipped with a memory seat, using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the DDM and the PDM self-tests.

Is DTC B108F:23 or B126A:01 present?

Yes

For vehicles not equipped with a memory seat, GO to J3 For vehicles equipped with a memory seat, GO to J5

No

VERIFY the BCM fuse 3 (20A) is OK. If OK, GO to J7 If not OK, REFER to the Wiring Diagrams manual to identify the possible causes of the circuit short.

J3 ISOLATE THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH
