Do both the PCM and the GWM pass the Network Test?
Yes | GO to H2 |

No | DIAGNOSE the no communication with the PCM or GWM. REFER to: Communications Network (418-00 Module Communications Network, Diagnosis and Testing). |
H2 CHECK THE MOVEABLE ROOF CONTROL MODULE A (MRCMA) CONTINUOUS MEMORY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (CMDTCS)
Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the Moveable Roof Control Module A (MRCMA) self-test. Retrieve and record all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the Moveable Roof Control Module A (MRCMA). Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the Moveable Roof Control Module A (MRCMA). Ignition OFF. Ignition ON. Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the Moveable Roof Control Module A (MRCMA) self-test.
Is DTC U0140:00 retrieved again?
Yes | GO to H3 |

H3 RETRIEVE ANY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE GWM (GATEWAY MODULE A) SELF-TEST
Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the GWM self-test.
