7. Remove the gearshift lever nuts.

8. Remove the gearshift lever assembly.

1. Remove the gearshift lever-to-transmission bolt.

2. Remove the gearshift lever bolt.

3. Remove the gearshift lever assembly from the transmission by pulling towards the rear of the vehicle.
