Evaporator Outlet Line - 5.2L 32V Ti-VCT

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, General Procedures).

2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Removal and Installation).

3. Detach the wiring harness retainer. Remove and discard the nuts. Remove the strut tower cross brace.

4. Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

5. Remove the fasteners and the cowl extension. Torque : 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
