Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the FCDIM. Refer to: Front Control/Display Interface Module (FCDIM) (415-00A Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC, Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the bolts and APIM. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Torque : 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. If a new APIM is being installed, program the APIM to the correct software level. Refer to: SYNC Module [APIM] Programming (415-00A Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC, General Procedures).
