Disconnect: APIM C2383. Remove the connector cover for C2383 by gently releasing two tabs located near the circuit entry point, and sliding the cover out of place. Backprobe: APIM C2383-12. Backprobe: APIM C2383-13. With the connector cover for C2383 still removed, carefully reconnect: APIM C2383. Ignition ON. Measure:

Is the voltage between 1.6 and 6.3 volts?

Yes

X2 CHECK THE MICROPHONE’S RESPONSE TO SOUND INPUTS

Operate the audio system in AM/ FM mode. Measure the AC voltage while increasing and decreasing the audio system volume.

Is a fluctuating AC voltage present that increases when the audio system volume increases and decreases when the audio system volume decreases?
