Y1 CHECK THE REMOTE USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) PORT/CABLE AND USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) HUB FOR POWER OUTPUT

Ignition ON. Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the remote USB port/cable and observe the MIT power LED. Disconnect: MIT 105-00120 from the remote USB port/cable. Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the USB hub and observe the MIT power LED.

Does the MIT 105-00120 power LED illuminate when the MIT is connected to both the remote USB port/cable andUSB hub port?

Yes	GO to Y2
No		• If the MIT 105-00120 power LED does not illuminate when connected to the remote USB port/cable, but does illuminate when connected to the USB hub, GO to Y4 • If the MIT 105-00120 power LED does not illuminate when connected to the USB hub, but does illuminate when connected to the remote USB port/cable, INSTALL a new USB hub. Y2 COLD BOOT THE APIM (SYNC MODULE) SOFTWARE AND OBSERVE THE OPERATION OF THE REMOTE USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) PORT/CABLE AND USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) HUB

Remove any devices connected to the remote USB port/cable and USB hub. Ignition OFF. Ensure the front doors of the vehicle are closed, then open and close the driver’s door and wait at least 10 seconds to disable the accessory delay feature.

NOTE: Cycling the ignition with the accessory delay feature disabled cold boots the APIM software.

Ignition ON. Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the remote USB port/cable. Select USB mode on the MIT. Operate the audio system in USB mode and observe the audio output. Disconnect: MIT 105-00120 from the remote USB port/cable. Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the USB hub. Select USB mode on the MIT 105-00120. Operate the audio system in USB mode and observe the audio output.

Is the audio system USB output OK with the MIT 105-00120 connected to the remote USB port/cable andUSB hub port?

Yes GO to Y3 No • If the audio system USB output is not OK with the MIT connected to the remote USB port/cable, but is OK when connected to the USB hub, GO to Y4
