Audio Unit Antenna Cable
Removal
NOTE: The original equipment AM/FM antenna cable(s) are part of the wiring harness and cannot be removed. This procedure refers to replacement of the cable(s) only by overlaying the cable(s).
NOTE: The AM/FM antenna cable inline connection is located under the floor console.
Coupe: Front Cable
1. Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
2. Remove the ACM. Refer to: Audio Front Control Module (ACM) (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation).
Coupe: Rear Cable
3. Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
4. Lower the headliner. Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
Convertible
5. Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
6. Remove the ACM. Refer to: Audio Front Control Module (ACM) (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation).
Convertibe: Rear Cable
7. Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
8. Remove the loadspace trim panel. Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel - Convertible (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
9. Remove the luggage compartment weatherstrip.
