PINPOINT TEST A : ONE OR MORE PARKING, REAR OR LICENSE PLATE LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE

A1 DETERMINE IF ALL THE PARKING LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE

Ignition ON. Place the headlamp switch in the PARKING LAMPS position.

Are all the parking lamps inoperative?

Yes	GO to A26
No	If both front side marker lamps are inoperative, GO to A2 If both rear side marker lamps and both license plate lamps are inoperative, GO to A6 If an individual front side marker lamp is inoperative, GO to A10 If an individual front parking lamp is inoperative, GO to A13 If an individual rear side marker or license plate lamp is inoperative, GO to A18 If all LH or all RH rear parking lamps are inoperative, GO to A21 If a single LH or single RH rear parking lamp is inoperative, INSTALL a new rear lamp assembly. REFER to: Rear Lamp Assembly (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).

A2 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE SIDE MARKER LAMPS

Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position. Ignition OFF. Disconnect: LH Front Side Marker Lamp C1127. Ignition ON. Place the headlamp switch in the PARKING LAMPS position. Measure:

Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?

Yes	REPAIR the front side marker lamps ground circuit for an open.
No	GO to A3

A3 REPEAT THE ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST AND CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE SIDE MARKER LAMPS

Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position. Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the BCM self-test. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and repeat the self-test (required to enable the lamp output driver if DTC U1000:00 is present). Place the headlamp switch in the PARKING LAMPS position. Measure:
