Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12C Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe (303-12C Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the bolts and position the degas bottle aside. Torque : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

4. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors and detach the wiring harness retainers.
