Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the diagnostic scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the PDM following the on-screen instructions.

2. Remove the Front door trim panel. Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the bolts and the PDM. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Torque : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure

2. Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the PDM following the on-screen instructions.
