Step 1

1. Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine coolant. Material : Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrated (U.S.) / VC-3-B (U.S.) (WSS-M97B44-D)

2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining and Vacuum Filling (303-03C Engine Cooling - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), General Procedures).
