Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01C Engine - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

2. NOTE: Do not reuse the CHT sensor, install a new sensor.

1. Disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector.

2. Remove and discard the CHT sensor. Torque : 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
