Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01C Engine - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

2. Disconnect the CKP sensor electrical connector, remove the bolt and the sensor. Torque : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Using the scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on-screen instructions.
