RH (right-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids

1. Remove the RH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover RH (303-01C Engine - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the bolts and the RH VCT oil control solenoids. Torque : Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) Stage 2: 20°

3. Remove the LH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover LH (303-01C Engine - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

4. Remove the bolts and the LH VCT oil control solenoids. Torque : Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) Stage 2: 20°
