PINPOINT TEST G : THE LH (LEFT-HAND) AND/OR RH (RIGHT-HAND) POWER FOLDING MIRROR IS
INOPERATIVE/ DO NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY (IF EQUIPPED)
NOTICE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may cause damage to the connector. Use only Rotunda Flex Probes (NUD105- R025D)
G1 CHECK POWER FOLDING MIRROR OPERATION
Ignition ON. Press the exterior mirror folding switch to activate the power folding mirrors.
Are both power folding mirrors inoperative or do not operate correctly?
Yes | GO to G2 |

No | GO to G10 |
G2 CHECK THE EXTERIOR FOLDING MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH
Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Front Door Window Control Switch C504. Perform the appropriate component test. Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 149 for schematic and connector information.
Did the exterior folding mirror control switch pass the component test?
Yes | GO to G3 |
|---|---|
No | INSTALL a new exterior folding mirror control switch (integral to the front door window control switch). REFER to: Front Door Window Control Switch (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation). |
G3 CHECK THE FOLDING MIRROR CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
Disconnect: Power Folding Mirror Relay C3276. Measure:

Yes | GO to G4 |
