NOTE: Some fuel may remain in the fuel tank filler pipe after draining. Carefully disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe hose from the fuel tank and drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.

7. Release the clamp and disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe from the fuel tank.

Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

1. Disconnect the vapor tube Quick Release Coupling. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS).

2. Remove retainers and the Fuel Tank Filler Pipe.

Torque

: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
