1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
2. Remove the following items:
Refer to: Starter Motor .
Refer to: Driveshaft .
3. Remove the screws, bolts and the underbody shield.
4. Remove the starter motor insulator.
