Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the driver airbag. Refer to: Driver Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the retainers, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the switch and bezel assemblies. Torque : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

3. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing new upper steering wheel switches.

On both sides. Remove the retainers and the upper steering wheel switch.
