Removal

NOTE: LHD shown, RHD similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the steering column shrouds. Refer to: Steering Column Shrouds (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

NOTICE: Make sure the component terminals are not bent or damaged.

2. NOTE: The steering wheel is removed for clarity.

Remove the retainers and the RH steering column multifunction switch. Torque : 9 lb.in (1 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
