Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS)

Installation

1. Add the correct amount of clean PAG oil to the refrigerant system. Refer to: Refrigerant Oil Adding (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, General Procedures).

2. Install new O-ring seals and gasket seals.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

4. Tighten the A/C compressor stud, bolt, studbolt and nut in the sequence shown. Torque :

1.: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

2.: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

3.: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

4.: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
