E4 VERIFY IF THE CONCERN IS RELATED TO THE ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL) SYSTEM WITH THE VEHICLE’S WHEELS IN MOTION
Place the vehicle on a hoist. Ensure all four wheels are off the ground and not in contact with anything. Close the luggage compartment lid and all doors. Enable the ANC system by starting the vehicle. Ensure the audio system is off. Take the gasoline engine through the RPM range in various gears and verify if there is an observable symptom present. E6 INSPECT THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL) MICROPHONE INSTALLATION
Gain access to the overhead console ANC microphone. REFER to: Active Noise Control Microphone (415-00A Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC, Removal and Installation). Inspect the microphone for correct mounting.
The microphone is snapped into the mounting bezel. The microphone is seated properly.
