With the vehicle stationary, take the gasoline engine through the RPM range and verify if there is an observable symptom present. Determine if an observable symptom is present. F4 VERIFY IF THE CONCERN IS RELATED TO THE ANC (ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL) SYSTEM WITH THE VEHICLE’S WHEELS IN MOTION
Place the vehicle on a hoist. Ensure all four wheels are off the ground and not in contact with anything. Close the luggage compartment lid and all doors. Enable the ANC system by starting the vehicle. Ensure the audio system is off. Take the gasoline engine through the RPM range in various gears and verify if there is an observable symptom present.
