AA3 TEMPORARILY REMOVE POWER FROM THE AUDIO SYSTEM MODULES AND RECHECK THE FCIM (FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE) OPERATION

Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Negative Battery Cable from the battery post. Wait for 1 minute. Connect: Negative Battery Cable to the battery post. Ignition ON. Test the FCIM for normal operation.

Does the FCIM operate correctly?

Yes	The FCIM is operating correctly at this time. The concern was corrected by allowing the audio system modules to reset.
No	GO to AA4

AA4 RETRIEVE THE ACM (AUDIO FRONT CONTROL MODULE) , APIM (SYNC MODULE) , AUDIO DSP (AUDIO DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING MODULE) MODULE, AND FCIM (FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the self-test for the following modules:

ACM APIM Audio DSP module FCIM

Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present in the ACM, APIM, audio DSP module, or FCIM?
