High Mounted Stoplamp - Coupe

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Lower the rear of the headliner. Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the center mounted high stoplamp.

1. Remove the nuts. Torque : 36 lb.in (4.1 Nm)

2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

3. Release the tabs.

4. Release the two-sided seal tape.

Installation

1. Clean and prepare the sealing surface. Using 3M TM Specialty Adhesive Remover clean the mating surface. Using an alcohol pad, prepare the mating surface.
