Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the CCM and SCCM self-tests.
Is DTC U3003:16 or DTC U3003:17 recorded?
Yes | For CCM, DTC U3003:16: GO to Pinpoint Test Q For CCM DTC U3003:17: GO to Pinpoint Test R For the SCCM, REFER to: Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components (211-05 Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components, Diagnosis and Testing). |

O4 RECHECK THE CCM (CRUISE CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
NOTE: If new modules were installed prior to the DTC being set, the module configuration can be incorrectly set during the PMI or the PMI may not have been carried out.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Repeat the CCM self-test.
Is DTC U0212:00 still present?
Yes | GO to O5 |

No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition. |
O5 CHECK FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) U0212:00 SET IN OTHER MODULES
Clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Ignition OFF. Ignition ON. Wait 10 seconds. Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve the Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs) from all modules.
Is DTC U0212:00 set in other modules?
Yes | INSTALL a new SCCM. REFER to: Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) (211-05 Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components, Removal and Installation). |
