NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. NOTE: The engine appearance cover rubber grommets may remain on the cover. If so, remove the grommets from the cover and install them on the intake manifold before installing the cover.

Remove the engine appearance cover.

2. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube-to-PCV valve quick connect coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00C Fuel System - General Information - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), General Procedures).
