Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01C Engine - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the IMRC sensors. Refer to: Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Position Sensor (303-14C Electronic Engine Controls -

5.0L 32V Ti-VCT/5.0L Ti-VCT V8 (308kW/418PS), Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the hoses, retainers and the IMRC actuators. Torque : 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
