Intake Manifold — Removal — Engine - 2.3L EcoBoost (231kW & 314PS) · Reference 4671

Install the clutch. Refer to: Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS) .

3. After completing the repairs, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure using a diagnostic scan tool.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > INTAKE MANIFOLD > REMOVAL

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

2. Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover.

3. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve quick release coupling at the front of the intake manifold. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING - 2.3L EcoBoost (231kW/314PS).

Detach the fuel tube and EVAP tube from the retainer on the intake manifold.

Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector.

Remove the bolt and position the EVAP canister purge valve aside.
