Measure the length or distance in two directions.

Record the smallest measurement for each crankshaft main bearing journal.

3. Using the original bolts, mount the main bearing beam flush and install the bolts finger tight.

4. Tighten the bolts in sequence shown in illustration.

Torque:

Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Stage 2: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Stage 3: 90°
